Seller Policy

Effective Date: March 3, 2026

Nerdbeak, Inc. ("Nerdbeak," "we," "us") operates multiple platforms including Nerdworth, Sugrworth, YoYoworth, Cliqket, and RepCheck (collectively, "our Platforms"). This Seller Policy applies across all Platforms that support marketplace transactions.

1. Seller Eligibility

To sell on any of our Platforms, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • You must complete Stripe onboarding and connect a valid payout account
  • You must provide accurate identity and tax information as required during onboarding
  • Your account must be in good standing with no active suspensions or unresolved violations

2. Listing Standards

All listings on our Platforms must meet the following standards:

  • Descriptions must be accurate and clearly represent the item being sold
  • Photos must show the actual item and clearly depict its condition
  • Condition grading must be accurate and honest
  • Pricing must be honest and not artificially inflated or deceptive
  • Keywords, tags, and categories must be relevant to the item. Misleading tags are not permitted

Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited on all of our Platforms:

  • Counterfeit, replica, or bootleg items
  • Stolen goods or items obtained through illegal means
  • Recalled items or items deemed unsafe by regulatory agencies
  • Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
  • Any item that violates local, state, federal, or international law

3. Ownership and Authenticity

You must own or have the legal right to sell every item you list on our Platforms. You are fully responsible for any authenticity claims you make in your listings.

Misrepresentation of an item's authenticity, origin, or provenance will result in listing removal and may lead to account suspension or permanent termination.

Grading claims must be accurate. If you list an item as PSA 10, it must be PSA 10. If you list an item as mint condition, it must be mint condition. False grading claims are treated as misrepresentation.

4. Shipping Commitment

Sellers are expected to fulfill orders promptly and securely:

  • Ship all orders within 2 business days of the sale
  • Provide a valid tracking number for every order
  • Signature confirmation is required for orders totaling $250 or more
  • Package items securely to prevent damage during transit
  • Use appropriate packaging for the item category. Cards should be shipped in top loaders or card savers. Fragile items should be wrapped in bubble wrap. Oversized items should be boxed with adequate padding.

5. Fees and Payouts

  • A platform fee is charged on each completed sale. See our Fees page for current rates.
  • Payouts are processed via Stripe to your connected payout account
  • Payout schedule depends on your Stripe account status and history
  • Fees are non-refundable once a transaction has been completed

6. Risk of Loss

Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery confirmation by the carrier. If tracking shows the item has been delivered, the seller has fulfilled their shipping obligation. Until delivery is confirmed, the seller bears responsibility for the item, including loss or damage in transit.

Sellers are strongly encouraged to purchase shipping insurance, especially for high-value items. For orders of $250 or more, signature confirmation is required. See our Shipping Policy for full details.

7. Returns and Refunds

  • Item Not As Described (INAD) claims are reviewed by our team on a case-by-case basis
  • If an INAD claim is confirmed, the seller must accept the return and issue a full refund
  • Sellers are responsible for return shipping costs on confirmed INAD claims
  • There are no returns for buyer's remorse on auction wins

8. Taxes

  • Sellers are responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes on their sales
  • We may collect and remit sales tax where required by law
  • Sellers in the United States who meet IRS reporting thresholds will receive a 1099-K from Stripe
  • Consult a tax professional for guidance on your specific tax obligations

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate seller accounts for any of the following reasons:

  • Repeated Item Not As Described claims
  • Consistent shipping delays or failure to ship
  • Listing counterfeit or prohibited items
  • Violations of this Seller Policy or our Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent activity of any kind

Suspended sellers may appeal by contacting us at ricky@nerdbeak.com. Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
