Buyer Protection

Nerdbeak, Inc. ("Nerdbeak," "we," "us") operates multiple platforms including Nerdworth, Sugrworth, YoYoworth, Cliqket, and RepCheck (collectively, "our Platforms"). This Buyer Protection Policy applies across all Platforms that support marketplace transactions.
1. Secure Payments
All payments on our Platforms are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your payment information is never shared with sellers. Funds are held securely until the transaction is confirmed.
2. Verified Sellers
All sellers on our Platforms complete identity verification through Stripe before they can receive payouts. Seller reputation is tracked across platforms via RepCheck. New sellers may have additional holds on payouts until they establish a track record.
3. What's Covered
The following situations are covered under our Buyer Protection Policy:
Item Not As Described (INAD)
The item you received differs materially from the listing description, photos, or condition claims.
Item Not Received
Tracking shows no delivery within the expected timeframe, or no tracking information was provided by the seller.
Counterfeit Items
The item is confirmed to be a reproduction or fake when it was listed as authentic.
Damaged in Transit
The item arrives damaged due to inadequate packaging. Damage in transit must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos.
4. What's Not Covered
The following situations are not eligible for buyer protection:
- Buyer's remorse or change of mind
- Items accurately described that you simply don't want
- Auction wins you regret
- Minor variations in color due to screen differences
- Items where you failed to read the full listing description
5. How to File a Dispute
If you believe you are eligible for buyer protection, follow these steps:
- Contact us within 14 days of delivery (or 14 days of expected delivery for non-receipt claims).
- Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photos.
- We will review the claim and may contact the seller for additional information.
- Resolution is typically reached within 5-7 business days.
6. Refund Process
If your claim is approved, a refund is issued to your original payment method. Refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
- Full refund including any buyer service fee for Item Not As Described (INAD) claims.
- Partial refunds may be offered for items with minor discrepancies.
7. Limitations
- Buyer protection does not apply to transactions conducted outside our Platforms.
- Claims must be filed within the specified timeframe.
- We reserve the right to deny claims that appear fraudulent or abusive.
- Repeated frivolous claims may result in account restrictions.
